Okay, so no one has any idea whats wrong with my wifes little W169 so I'll need to drop it in to a specialist - could anyone recommend one near Bolton / North Manchester?

Its to validate a sensor error on a 2010 W160 A150 Blue Efficiency. I have iCarsoft codes but it wont offer any detail.

There's Merc Star at Radcliffe and Greenvale at Whitefield who I am aware of, though have never used either.

I have heard a lot of positives about Greenvale on the forum though...

Greenvale moved to Swinton. Spoke with them last week, really nice chaps.

Went to Jed at Greenvale, he spent 4 hours finding and fixing the fault, broken wire near ecu. Problem solved and £150 lighter.
Would recommend Jed as he's solved the issue and was straight talking. Price seems high, but it was a real pain in the **** to locate and fix.

£150 for 4 hours work is cheap! Dread to think what an MB dealer would have charged, even if they could have located the fault- they don't seem to have a great rep for tracking this stuff down.

I only found out today, went round to say hello. chap across the way said he had a blood clot or something like that. Bit of a shock
