Hello, can anyone help with this one as its driving me nuts. Under the bonnet there are two springs which I believe cushion the shut and apply upwards pressure to the bonnet when its closed. They are about 15" off centre, attached to the bonnet and have small, 30mm ish, rubber discs which are push fit via a rectangular attached rubber pin which is part of the disc. The problem is every 3 or 4 shuts the discs part company with the spring and stick to the internal body work above the grille. Ive tried Vaseline on the discs but it melts, silicone doesnt seem to last either. The problem is if I happen to miss the ocurence the disc may fall off completetly and the spring/s damage themselves or the body work. Anyone else had this?

Hopefully, Portzy.
