Bonnet Lock Latch

    Hello ,i have a mercedes-benz vito 1.6cdi 111 2015(Van)Someone bked into my front bumper no dmg on the front bumber seen then ..but when i tried to open the bonnet today i barely managed to do it.When i checked the lock the cable was out of it place not pulling the lock anymore,can someone please tell me how can i get it back in i realy need the van for work tomorrow .Thanks

    I assume that the end of the cable has come out of its holder. Its only a U shaped piece in which the end of the outer cable housing sits in. Shouldn't be difficult to put back but you might find it easier to remove the grill. Obvious what holds it just unscrew the screws you can see on the top and lift it out.
