Booming/hum sound Goodyear Efficient Grip

My 250 C W205 is fitted with Goodyear Efficient Grip tyres. I'm getting a constant droning/booming/ hum that varies slightly with road surfaces. The noise is only really audible from the driver's seat. The MB dealer reckons that it just road noise as they've checked wheel bearings, drive shafts etc. The tyres have been switched front to back but no difference in the noise. Car and tyres have only done 10k.
I'd be very grateful for suggestions and/or comments.

Can the dealer try another set with different tyres? I have these tyres and have never had any noise issues, neither have I read it anywhere

Don't know why but mercs seem to suffer more from tyre noise that on other marques, on certain surfaces mine sounds like the Jules Holland band on a bad night, experts tell me it's due to the width of the tyres coupled with compound. I turn the audio up.
