Boot and Window Spoilers

Has anyone bought these from Taiwan
Painted Mercedes Benz C-class C204 2D Coupe Roof + Trunk Boot Lip Spoiler Combo? | eBay

Just wondering what the fit is like and if the 3d tape mentioned is sufficient

I bought a c63 rep boot spoiler for my 204 and had it painted here,however the fit and 3m tape were perfect well pleased.

Just had my e55 carbon splitter come through... 6 days delivery... 1/2 cost than sourcing in UK and that includes custom tax at £51... Looks fine but will see what fitter says next week!!

3M tape lasted a day on my CLS.

Id get some bonding agent from a bodywork shop on it

I think it depends on the car as the boot lid is curved on the CLS so it's more difficult to get good contact all the way around. I added a spoiler to my E350 over 6 months ago using automotive 3M tape and it's rock solid. Also prepping the boot lid properly is very important...I gave mine a polish using a DAS6 and then an IPA wipedown before using an adhesive promoter.

Tape adhesion great. So great that after seeing it wasn't lined up straight, absolute pig to get off, then to clean up. I then bought some silicone adhesive off eBay.. Great stuff and being a novice, allowed me to tinker and line up, then just used masking tape to hold. all good still
