    Hi,

I have a 9 year old S class with the boot closing aid. It has been playing up which means to close the boot you have to use more force than with the aid. The car just had some work done on it and when I got it back it was working again for a few weeks, but has now stopped.

I have checked the fuses, but the enclosed paperwork is unclear (to me at least) as the layout in the diagram doesn't seem to quite correspond with the fusebox. However the other circuit that is supposed to be on the same fuse is working.

Any ideas as to what I could check. I am fairly certain it is not broken, as it came back to life again.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    thanks

    Is this a W140 S class?
