Boot opening

Hi- my boot,on a W208 CLK 2.3K opens very slowly with both the interior and fob buttons.Is it supposed to just open or open fully?Thanks...

There's no powered lift just the assistance from the springs. You could try adjusting them by moving to a lower mounting hole?

Remove the warning triangle from inside the boot lid to see how it performs without the weight of the triangle.
