Thinking of putting the simple AMG style on, there's a myriad available on Ebay, apart from the one I've linked below, does anyone have any recommendations/ones they've used/bought that were a good fit and good quality?

I have a genuine AMG boot spoiler for a C204 in Fire Opal red if you want it, sat in my shed. Pay for the postage & you can have it. I think it will only fit a coupe though.

Have you considered an original AMG spoiler? Try phoning around a few main dealers as they may have one on the shelf which they can’t sell and may be willing to sell for a fraction of the original price. I’ve bought two that way.

No idea; I found it on a Google search on the web - so I guess it must be real!

Have fitted a spoiler ex Ebay for a SLK & SLC. Both came already in body colour which was an exact match & a doddle to install using the integral or pre-installed adhesive tape. Why? Because to my eyes it elongates the side profile of the boot which is a tad stumpy. Never came loose or became discoloured. Paid about a £100. AND it looks OE as per proper AMG versions.
