Boot wont open

hi all..I have a merceds 2009 c class cdi sport and the boot button doesn't work thats by the speaker on drivers side..it will open with the key fob and manually but nothing happens when I press the button.

What happens if you pull instead of push? I can never remember which way to do mine, so I try both while looking in the rear view mirror...

There's no pulling its a button underneath the door speaker

Possibly a vacuum pipe off the actuator in the boot lid ?
