Boot wont stay open - help needed please W211 Estate

Hi all,

i have an issue with my W211 estate boot in that it wont stay open, there doesn't appear to be any gas struts so i've no idea how to fix the issue, basically if you open it you have to hold it open otherwise it just drops.

any help greatly appreciated.

There are gas struts. They sit horizontally behind the headliner. You’ll be in there mending your remote locking anyway!

You have got struts, you just can't see them!

Looks quite fiddly but doable. Alternatively put up your location and someone may be able to suggest a decent indy local to you.
