Bose or not Bose

My 2005 cl500 has bose logos on the front door speakers, I am not convinced it has the bose upgrade, is there any other way to tell please?

On those cars I’ve had with BOSE there was a setting to alter the soundstage, centralise the sound in the centre or the car, or in the centre of the drivers seat, etc.

If the rear of your rear speakers are visible they might have a Bose sticker on them, mine do in my w202 c43

Why do you doubt you have Bose?

A vin number check site will list the spec of your car.

It doesn't sound as good as I expected, only the fronts have the logo on

That sounds promising. There was another setting which showed on the screen that the sound came from close to you, from a long way from you or in between - I can’t remember what that feature was called specifically though.
