Both Brake Bulbs Blown ... No Error on dash!

Hi people,

I had a guy on the road telling me that none of my brake lights were working but there was no message on my dash to inform me of blown bulbs ??

Why is that ... it says no malfunction when in fact I have to non working brake lights!

Must mean that the No Malfunction Light is Malfunctioning........don't think they have a light for that!

Whats the brake light switch ... is that a sensor?

Hang on ... I pulled over and I never had any spare bulbs so I took one of the reverse light bulbs off and put it on the brake light.

I never got an error for reverse light not working?

Does the Mercedes 2005 a150 display error on dash with faulty lamps?
