Hi,

I wonder if anyone has experience of using the above? I've PM'd a couple of club members who've mentioned them in the past but not had a response as yet. I need an 'A' service on my S320 and they've given a good quote and will do a courtesy car etc.

Any other recommendations in Herts, NW London, Essex or near Heathrow gratefully received.

Try George Fraser in Alperton just off the A40 (not far from Wembley)

A friend of mine used them a couple of years back for an annoying, intermittent fault on a W202 C-class (relating to the fuel system).

Very prompt service and the car was spot on since - no problems

I have used Boxer a couple of times for my 520i and later for wife's A class - not too impressed - I went there the first time and it was ok, the 2nd and 3rd time, when my wife went in, the charges were sky high, new faults were found with the car and so on and so forth...

I've changed to George Fraser and (touch wood) no problems at all...

I had myW203 MOT there.

I must admit they charge £60p/h plus VAT. SO a bit high I would say.

They used to be Alfa Romeo specialist years ago (from the old b/w pic inside the waiting room).

But again they are the nearest to me. Tempted to try Tony Purslow Basingstoke or Woking.

I need to install the 3rd brake light bootlid mounted and the luxury climate control for my CLK.

Any more opinions regarding Boxer Motors Ashford?

I would recommend Colin Ferns in Richmond but sice his rates are £70ph I guess that you think that's too expensive!
