... and other places too. I've no idea how many were made but I doubt it was a lot. I've never seen one.

I don't see what the surprise is that the bidding is over £5K. A 500E will generally be well over that and a nice Cosworth can fetch over £5K. If it's a whole Brabus car, why wouldn't it go for well over £5K?

Unless, the idea is to try to talk the price down lol

All will be revealed next week when the customer has it back, if I want to release it (tempted to say it will need running in or something ). Needless to say an awful lot of "outside the box" engineering was done.

The simple answer is you can't

IIRC.....
The M103 Brabus 3.6 is putting out 265ish bhp.
The M104 3.6 is rated about 285, too.

Brabus 6.5 V8 to the M113 was 450bhp

Owner coveted the car for some years. It was sold to him by a friend and he's owned it for about 4 years. Don't think it's been serviced in that time..."Brabus is really expensive"

450bhp...? 450 was listed in the manuals/literature somewhere and the current chap felt sure it must be the power output

It has had new rear pads recently...allegedly and was it the FridayAd's for 8 or 9k...he says

Anybody spotted that the coolant in the expansion tank being down to the level of the sensor...oops.

"hi I have just spoken with the previous owner and he assures me that it is a 420bhp it is difficult because i don't know very much about these cars this is a really nice car that has been well looked after and i don't know how else to check it is a proper barabus conversion and i do have the paper work, many thanks"

He must have a second engine on the boot that we don`t know of
