Greetings everyone,

My 2001 E320 CDI (W210) was getting quite ill so it has spent the last month being assimilated at Brabus.

The 2 main issues I had at the time was a very lumpy idle and a noisy rear diff.

The following treatment was performed...

New Rear Diff (Ouch! )

Replacement of 2 fuel injectors

New Windscreen (European screen hides the normally visible chassis number! :bannana: )

Brabus Sports Chassis (Springs and Dampers all round for impeccable handling)

Brabus D6 (includes K+N Sports Air Filter)

Brabus Monoblock VI wheels (one piece) (235/40ZR18 front / 265/40ZR18 rear using Michelin Pilot Sport of course!)

Brabus Aluminium Doorpins for extra bling factor!

The following treatment remains to be performed...

Unfortunately, the fuel injectors are playing up again in that I have a very lumpy idle once more so I think I shall have to replace the remaining 4.

The Brabus sway bars were out of stock at the time and they shall be installed to really tighten things up.

This is what it looks like now...

I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them.

you've reduced me to a big pile of dribble.....!

Nice pics, reminds me of my visit there a couple of years ago. Did you get a look round the workshops?

Well done lovely pics! 6.1 litre C Class is great but I fear the asking price is less pleasant

I was taken around the workshops and took a few cars (including my own) on their little test track.

I got to take the CLK 6.1 out on the road and it is an absolute scorcher. The nicest thing about it is the roar of the engine.

When you are sat at the traffic lights with cars around you, there is no better way to say Wassssup? than with a blip of the throttle! :bannana:

Unfortunately, the SLK leaked water into the boot because of a dislocated drain hose and that ruined the spare films I had so I only had the film in the camera.

Their prices aren't cheap but I think they are the only people you can comission to build you a CL400 CDI!!! Speaks volumes about their expertise.

I'm beginning to wish I'd taken you up on that offer to go with you now ! (Although I think my bank account is relieved that I had to work that day !!)

Nice courtesy car, I must say ! So let me get this straight - they lent you the SLK while they had your car for how long ?

I was in the USA for 3 weeks so I didn't need a car - they don't normally provide courtesy cars but due to difficulties with some parts they took a week longer and hence the new SLK for a week.

OK - I can blame this on the drink - bluh bluh bluh bluh bluh - which roughly translated means JEALOUS!!! :D :bannana: :D

Great piccies!! Looks like the Maybach has dropped something tho' :p

Thanks for sharing. :)

S.

p.s. hope you get your lumpy idling problem sorted too.

Just out of interest how much did all that cost.
The car looks great BTW

I spent more than I wanted to but I'm not going to let that spoil things.

Just getting the rear diff replaced cost £3000!!!

But at least its getting closer to being a kicken assen wagen! :D

Its just a pity that the tax rules have changed otherwise I could have offset the lot! At least I saved a little by paying 16% German VAT as opposed to 17.5% UK VAT.
