Yes when I was first looking into it I saw several posts commenting on the upgrade ranging upwards from £2k and then slowly increasing, but by then had it in my head I was having it done, can only think it was the early turbo issues and Brabus thought we do not want to be involved in these issues, so if we are going to be involved by taking over the warranty lets at least have some money in our pockets

I have just had my a45 Amg remapped with 50 bhp increase, including £10,000 warranty for £470. I had work done at Mercedes under warranty and nothing has ever been mentioned about re map.

Didn't Rebellion work on an upgrade which had an A45 chewing up C63's for breakfast? At far cheaper prices

I would not expect 40BHP to put any noticeable strain on the engine or drive train, the actual increase in boost will be 0.2 Bar at most.

Either way it's your money and if you are reassured then good for you for getting it done, there are plenty of people who talk about tuning and wanting more power but never get round to it.

You only live once and most of the time it's the things that you don't do that causes regret.
