hi all. just registered and glad to be back on the forums. been into the mercs for years and thought i would get in contact with you fine people.

guess what i do have a prob. i have a 270 ml 2001 brbaus. interior lights have stopped working ? fuses ok etc. its the main lights when you open the doors. sun visor lights work though ?any one had similar probs ??

Do the lights work if you open a different door? If it does then it could be a door switch.

Which Brabus extras do you have, and do you have any photos you can share with us? We like looking a photos of Mercs around here!!

brabus and my lights not working

thanks guys. nice to be accepted into this. firstly its not the bulbs and it is every door that does not make the interior lights come on . the dash lights work but not the main internal lights and its annoying with these early eves. the extras i have in the car that are brabus.

brabus monoblock 20 " split rims
red leather and stiched head rests with brabus in them
red leather dash py brabus
brabus white dial set
brabus d4 engine chip
brabus front brake conversion
brabus engine cover
brabus foot mats
brabus auto gear stick
brabus tax disk holder
brabus badges all around
brabus front grill trim set on the chrome inspiration grill

other bits are

amg pedals ( dont like brabus ones )
full amg body kit
amg rear exahusts
rear uprated callipers and discs, ( callipers powdercoated red )
front bullbars
side rails
full safari sun roof ( its massive )
red leather pack to the door trims

chrome pack.- outside door handle protectors, chrome window covers on the outside lower part of all door glass. rear insert of the back bumper has been replaced with a stainless steel strip.inside chrome bits to the dash.

am just trying to source the illuminated door threshold strips which say BRABUS . any one seen them ?

all of this was put on the car from factory and have some 16k of recipts from the guy i bought it from.. bought it from ebay around 2 years ago with 90K on it full service history.

would love the new brabus ml.

Post some pics when you can sounds good.

Its not just the switch position in the roof is it? can you manualy put the lights on using the switch?

Also I think the rear one has a switch you can manualy put on.

jack pot the lights now work

thanks for that. it was the switch in the roof that was not working properly. just taken it apart and the terminal was loose. job done. thanks for your help !!
just seen a pic of your truck. looks very clean. mine is black and is a pig to keep clean.:bannana:

will have to get some of it. its more brighter red than yours. its not all red but alot of it is red. got red, head rests ,dash (middle bit) door cards sides of seats etc. was so lucky as i wanted one for ages and it was just there on ebay 2 years ago. had everything i wanted so had to have it

Sounds nice. A recall an ML just like yours on ebay, and I think the seller was in South Wales. Not the same one by any chance?
