Has anyone fitted braided brake lines to their CLS55? If so which did you go for? (could only find E55 fitment and not sure if they are the same)

pretty sure the e55 and cls55 share the same mechanicals.

After a bit more research, I am now doubtful they even make a difference on our cars (on track) with the electronic braking system. Which is likely why I can't find many people fitting them. Nothing like the difference it made on my E46 M3, for example.

I fitted Goodridge to the E55 as I had them off and was changing anyway.

I was going to fit them to my CLS55 but my insurer (Direct Line) refused to cover the car if I did. No amount of arguing would change their stance....

I have fitted Goodridge ones to my W202 C43. :)

Did you notice any difference? Any track usage?

Not for me, I've always found the brakes in the W211 to be very good.
Then again my mates describe me as more of a white Morgan Freeman with Miss Daisy on board. ;)

I had the hoses off so it was logical to replace at the time with the stainless steel option.
