Brake Handle trim surround

Anyone know where I can get a replacement trim surround (keisselberg cream plastic) for the brake handle on my CLK320 cabriolet elegance W209 (late '53) model. I had to break the old part off when the cable slipped from the handle when releasing at the traffic lights jamming the brakes on! Thanks.

If it is available to order then a Mercedes Parts Department?

I doubt it will be expensive and it will only cost you a ;phone call to find out. Have your vehicle's VIN to hand,

Found a replacement used part (as an assembly of brake handle and cable runner) on-line at Dronsfield Merc Ind. Reasonably priced and first class delivery. Main dealer says part not available separately and need to replace the whole dashboard!
