Brake judder

2002 320 CLK convertable auto.

I have front brake judder when driving hard. Is that warped front discs?

A judder when driving is not likely to be brakes; you will notice brake judder when braking. Is that what you meant?

Yes, that is what I meant. In normal urban traffic conditions the brakes seem OK, but when driving fast on winding country roads with harder than normal braking I start to experience the judder, but only while braking.
