Can anyone recommend a brake pad that does not give off so much brake dust. I have heard that Greenstuff pads are good. I am having the wheels refurbished on the 7th and want to try to eliminate some of the damage done by excessive brake dust. :D

Greenstuff are OK for lighter cars but they can give a dead feel to the pedal. I'm using ferrodo on my CLK and dust is OK ish

Thank you moon loops. I will look into this in more detail.

Another Ferodo DS fan here.

Had DS2500 on the Scooby and absolutely brilliant. My BIL has them on a W208 320 and they are absolute sh*te. I am a fan of OMP pro but what impressed me the most recently was EBC red stuff on a W208 430 so I am just about to put my brake disc upgrade on and think I will go with red stuff :thumb:

 I'm spoilt for choice here. However, I am taking on board your comments guys, again, thank you. :)

I think I have the same model car as yourself, and I just put EBC's on this weekend. Still bedding them in though so nothing to report yet. Washed car straight after..... well, it was sunday.... and ZERO brakedust after 114 miles of careful motoring.

I don't miss the grinding sound either. that was getting a bit boring.

Didn't change discs though. That's next time's job.
