    Hi Guys

Just got our first Merc, w208 CLK 320, and noticed that under reasonable braking, well before ABS would kick in, the brake pedal seems to shudder slightly.

    Is this normal?

    Cheers

    IMO, no.

If it doesn't go away after some repeated firm braking (sometimes you can get pad material transferred onto the rear disks if left with the parking brake applied for long periods), it could be a slightly warped disk.
