The brake vacuum pump on my 814d with an OM364 LA engine is blowing engine oil onto the air filter.
I've dismantled the brake vacuum pump, it's a piston type and the rings on it look OK (they aren't cracked) and the bore of the cylinder looks ok too.
The pump blows a coniderable amount of oil with the sucked out air onto the air-filter. The oil is engine oil; however the brakes seem to work OK.
Anyone had experience this and know what causes it?
