Hi

Just about to change front discs and pads on my 2007 E220 estate and I've noticed there is only cabling on drivers side for brake wear indicator, is this normal as Haynes manual seems to indicate they should be on both sides.

Thanks in advance
Rob

If you had an earlier w211 you would have sbc braking system, and therefore have a 50% wear sensor on the passenger side, you will just have the one.

id go with whats on the car , not what Haynes says . my e 320 has a sensor on both fronts . 2004/2005.

My Viano has a single brake wear sensor on each corner on the outboard pad.
