Hi bit new to this so any help greatly appreciate.

I want to either put red covers on my calipers or replace them with new painted ones , Any thoughts and where is a good place to get them from ?

cheers Frankieboy

Personally I would avoid covers - there isn’t much room down there and the last thing you need is it coming free and getting caught up in your wheel or brakes.

It’s possible to have them refurbished, either mail order or by dropping your car at a place which will remove, refurbish and refit them for you.

Whereabouts are you, as a member may be able to recommend somewhere near you.

I don’t know anywhere close to you, but others will. I’m sure someone from your area will be along soon.

Bigg Red are well known but you’d need to remove and refit yourself, and use their mail order service.

They look great SmartAMG, what paint did you choose?
Almost a shame to hide them behind the wheels lol

kc
I used, Halfords Engine paint, it's better than there Caliper paint, it's thicker, goes on better, and needs less coats, two coats was enough. :) 👍

Very nice job. Once the wheels are on no one will not notice its not a pro job. The black bells look good as well

There are a few professional places if you want to go down that route. It will be a refurbishment though so any seals etc get replaced. It all depends on what you want to spend and how perfect you want the finish to look.

P.S. there's nothing wrong with the job SmartAmg has done, I'm just giving you an alternative

And they look particularly good with open style alloys like yours.

Oh give me a brake 🤦‍♂️
