Been thinking about this for a while, and asked about in a couple of places to gauge if there was any interest in us Northern people having a bit of a meet and a chinwag, though didn't get much feedback, so set it up anyway. 
The venue will be the Toby Carvery WA2 8QD, which is literally just off the A49 North of the centre, so hopefully easy to find, and with a suggested start time of 09:00 - 09:30, but not exact so no worries if you're late or early.
The Toby have a reasonably sized car park, but also have access to the adjacent hotel car park as well, should it get a bit busy. If anyone fancies making a weekend of it, or at least stopping over the Saturday night then the hotel is the Premier Inn, Floyd Drive Warrington. There are at least five Premier Inns in Warrington so, if you are staying over, make sure you book the Floyd Drive one for convenience. I know that there are at least two of us staying the Saturday night for a few drinks, more always welcome.
The pub serve breakfast at a reasonable price from 07:00 (I think) onwards, so we should be OK in that respect. As for an agenda for the meet, as far as I'm concerned it's just an informal meeting and general chat, so anything goes really. I don't tend to go for the formal stuff on these things. The landlord has said he can make a room available for us throughout the morning, though I suggested this probably wouldn't be necessary.
I'm not bothered about making a list of attendees or anything, but feel free to post if you want to pop along for a hopefully chilled out morning. Coming along in a Mercedes would help, but it's not essential. It'll be the last time I'll be in mine before it goes in for a few big jobs, so looking forward to the last good blast in it in it's present form.
