Go to Kyoto during the cheery blossom period. I was lucky enough to go there once and it was absolutely gorgeous. Food is fantastic in Japan.

Mattc has it, Grand Nikko hotel, overlooking the Rainbow bridge, Tokyo Daiba

Just back from visiting the shopping centres Some fantastic eateries on the way though

Had a stroll along the Daiba beach and nearly got trampled under foot as a couple of hundred Pokémon Go devotees chased down the latest whatever Seriously never seen so many adults running along eyes glued to the phones in hand!!!

Off to the calm of Lake Ashi tomorrow, with a cruise on the lake and a ride in the cable car.

In fact, I've just been there to check, but couldn't quite find that view. Or anything remotely like it really...

Day ended with an interesting but tasty meal, no idea what I ate but am getting the hang of chopsticks
