My pride and joy was damaged in a mishap on the motorway two weeks ago and due to low valuation of the car as a whole it is with some sadness that I have decided to break it for parts and spares.

It is a 1998 W202 C230 Kompressor "sport" saloon with auto transmission. VIN is WDB2020242F792563. It was on an S-reg and is a facelift model. It had covered 205k miles. It was serviced by Mercedes-Benz when requested (approx twice yearly) until 2008 when servicing was carried out by an independent. Known faults prior to the incident were a crack in the exhaust manifold, worn blower motor brushes, worn kompressor bearing and weeping rear differential. A fault was logged internally for a heating circulation pump but the heating worked fine.

The damage has essentially removed anything from in front of the engine, the automatic gearbox is currently unknown status, one of the wheels is destroyed and one tail lamp is broken due to a previous incident. There is some rust around the bootlock and a 50p-sized scab on the front passenger door. The engine itself including wiring harness, ECU and supercharger has already been promised to a 3rd party and is currently being removed. The black leather interior (seats, inner-doors) will be listed separately.

If you are interested in any parts from the car please let me know by PM.

As an idea of the parts currently available and in good condition:

Here are some pics of a few items, specifically steering wheel, shift knob and instrument cluster.

As you can tell it was a cold day in Preston but we were still in t-shirts...
