Hi

I have a Breitling Colt Chrono and I need to reset a couple of things and I am not sure how.

1: How do you change the date, without winding the hour hand forward to go through the days?

2: Is there a way to reset the chronograph so all the needles are pointing in the correct direction?

Many thanks

Tan

I don't know the Chrono Colt specifically, but if it's anything like my Breitlings then you need to pull the crownwheel out to position 1 to use the quick date corrector, it's not always easy to select that position, as it nearly always goes to position 2 which operates the hands.

Never operate quick date correction between 21:00 and 03:00, you can damage the mechanism !

Can't remember the resync, it never works on my Jupiter Pilot, which reminds me, it needs to go in for a service! Watches can empty your wallet as fast as a car :(

Cheers,

Richard

I managed to change the date but resetting the chrono is still not working properly. I reset some of it and them messed up one needle, now I can't remember how i got it to move.
