Hello every one
does any one know what make my brake callipers are is it Brembo or Lucas ,with out me taking the wheel off . I know some people might think I am lazy ,I am not and will explain later but for now I need this information please. for those who don't know my car is M b C Class S203 estate 2007 classic . thank you :D

id say if it hasnt got Sports package, ie Drilled disc's it may have Lucas calipers

Hi
thank you for the reply ,to answer your question no I don't have sport package on my car ,I would have love to do the work myself but unfortunately due to spinal injury I cannot do it myself but I have found a mail order performance parts specialist who says they have quality OEM replacement pad made by British company called EBC brakes and have them fitted for very good price by a local mechanic, hence the question about the callipers name, and I am going to try them out see how they are .

Dont buy EBC get original brake pads from Edinburgh Mercedes here is an Ebay link for the 203
Mercedes C Class Front Brake Pads Genuine , New | eBay

If you email him your reg he will supply correct O.E Part
£60.00 delivered to your nearest Argos

You dont need EBC pads on that car unless you are doing track days..
If you just want the EBC pad for low dust I would recomend the Textar E-Pad brake pads from Euro car Parts
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/M...4d8321a7c4fa5f6bb503ae9831b6639a731b68&000036

O.E is a far better option for better braking Trust Me:thumb:

thank you Del80y ,I would try the Textar E-pad because it is the dust I was concern about ,all I have to do is to find local mechanic to have them fitted for under £70 because that is what they are offering to fit both front and rear pads if I buy the pads from them, thank you again for your help

Hi Borz...
I use Brembo on my W203 Estate Avantgard without sports pack, like you, and I buy them here (click to go to link) they seem to be on sale right now, sometimes the rebate remains but sometimes is just for a few days...

I also bought last month to the rear brakes and they give me the smooth yet strong braking power that Brembo accustomed me with...

you can find more tutorials at Pelican Parts

Thank you pnevesfoto for your reply ,I was told about Brembo pads specially about less dust they make compare to OEM and the link you have given me are very chip compare to the others I have seen and I will go ahead and buy it from them ,I just hope I can communicate properly with them to get both front and the rear as my French and Spanish is not that good but I am willing to try once again thank you .
