I last year changed my rear brake pads was hard getting the pins out.

For the front caliphers one of the pins seems seized in the calipher, what ways can I try to get it out?

If I cannot get it out will replacing the caliper be the solution.

Thanks in advance!

Use a correct diameter punch and large hammer. They normally refuse to move if there is a burr in the hole the way it comes out. People using wrong tool putting pins in normally burrs hole over.

Use WD40 or penetrating fluid and leave to dwell for some time, then they come out easily.

I had the same issue with my W203 recently.

Lots of penetrating fluid (WD40), straight pin punch of the correct diameter and LOTS of brute force!!!!

The upper pins seem worse than the lower ones and with the N/S upper one I actually had to cut it off with a Dremel then as I started to drill it out the heat freed it and out it popped.

Lack of lubrication seems to cause lots of issues and it was obvious the folks who had been maintaining the car before I purchased it in February had not heard of it!!

Good job I got it for a bargain price :D
