Hi guys. I wonder.if you might be able to point me in the direction of a cheap and chearfull motor home for the british grand prix. The weather's looking pretty lame for the weekend and I'm fed up of damp... stuff there are 3 of us, my dad, my son and myself and we don't mind the absence of luxuries. We did Santa pod this year and was confronted with 36hrs of persistent rain... in a tent :-(

I've been through this before, cheap and cheerful isn't easy to do with motorhomes. In the end I hired a caravan, it was cheaper to have a tow bar fitted and rent the van than it was to hire a motorhome.

Even caravan hire can cost a fortune. I had one for a week back in 2003 and it was over £500 IIRC. Could have bought a serviceable one for that!
