I have a bit of a problem with my 1997 Avantgarde e-class estate. I can't fold the back seats down due to a broken seat back catch on the passenger side. The red pop up part of the catch has broken off. It looks as if the previous owner has had a go at a repair by ripping the seat material away to try to get at the mechanism.
I'm guessing the only cost effective way to repair this problem is to replace the back seat entirely.
Can anyone help?
