Going out last night and started the car up to a terrible racket from the rear.
On closer inspection this morning it looks like there is a break between the exhaust and a cross support - I think on reflection it has been catching on the crown of my driveway.
Sorry it's not a very clear picture but the cross member that attaches to the exhaust is extremely rusty and has two visible nuts. Also it appears to fork where it joins the exhaust and continues over the top of the exhaust.
Just wondered what that cross support was as it doesn't seem to just support the exhaust?
