Got a couple of warning lights on the SLK, ABS and BAS. ICarsoft suggested a problem with the right rear wheel sensor but, on removing the wheel it was clear the reluctor ring had snapped.
Stripping down was a matter of fighting against 24 years of rust but I eventually got there. This included the CV joint where the ring locates.
It’s a tight fit but some heat from a blowtorch allowed it to be tapped into position with a hammer.
