My Tomtom 720 has a broken connector-thingy ~ the bit you plug into. Any suggests as to where I could get this repaired please? (I know there are a number of places on the interweb, with prices around £50 but I am hoping for a recommendation).

Thanks.

Not sure if it's any help but I have found in the past that a nice polite letter to the manufacturer can produce a favourable result. Guess it's a case of catching the right person on the right day in the right mood!

Ya gotta kiss a lotta frogs!

Is it not a mini usb on the 720? If so you can by the female mini usb socket from Maplins for pence and solder it in yourself if you are handy. Quite an easy repair but I'm not sure if the 720 is mini usb or not?

PS: it is nealy two years old, so I doubt a letter would help, but thanks anyway.

No problem. IMHO (and experience) it is worth a stamp?
