Buckled Wheel - will it pass MOT?

Are your sure it's just not the white paste they always use (new and used tyres) to make the beads slip only the rims more easily. We use that at my work too....for new caravan tyres. Nothing to do with getting them to seal.

Tyre soap is the white stuff

Some places use black stuff to help them seal

No , 100% a 'bitumen/rubber' type product , black , sticky and smelly. It's a sealant alright.

The tyres they fit seem to come mainly from Germany and the guys who own and run the place come from a country quiet a bit further East than that.

I have a very low opinion of Kwik Fit .... But I doubt that even they could have caused all that damage.
I know times are hard - But I would not embarrass myself taking a MB car for an MOT test with a wheel that was obviously buckled
