Building an AMG car collection on budget. Need your opinion

I went with the W211 E55 AMG which has the M113k engine as it’s closer to that in the SLR.

Mechanically, yours is closer to the N/A than to the SLR.

^^^ I was going to say that , to all intent and purposes the engine in the E55 is quite literally an NA M113 with a blower plonked on top.

OP will need one of these as well.
