Bulb Replacements

Haven't posted for a while as things have been going fairly well with the CLS!

However, my latest 'warning' is "Left Hand Parking Light" which is obviously self -explanatory and I can see the bulb has blown upon inspection.

This could be a good opportunity to upgrade to LED bulbs so I am after a little advice.

• Any good recommendations for 501 replacements?
• Any recommended sellers or suppliers?
• Any gotchas with replacing the bulbs on a CLS?
• Any other bulb upgrade recommendations?

I have read various threads with interest but it's always best to ask direct questions I find. Thanks.

LED bulbs have to be the correct way round to work, so make sure you test the light before you push the bulb and holder back into the light. The ones I tried were shaped such that, when I tried to pull the bulb back out of the light, it caught on an edge, pulled itself out of the holder and dropped into the headlight - from where I could not retrieve it!

Killerhertz on here is a good source of LED's.
