I've noticed a burning smell coming from my car after having been driven. I think it may be from the catalytic converter which appears to have some residue/gunk on it. The coolant level seems to have dropped slightly, so I'm thinking the coolant is leaking from somewhere and running down to the cat where it's being burnt off. Does this sound possible? Any suggestions as to where it may be leaking from. I haven't been able to get the car up to have proper look yet. The car is a w202 c200 1999.
