Recently when i start the car from cold or after leaving it off for a while and then starting a strange burning smell comes from the centre vents only. Its not really bad but i do notice it. At the same time fairly hot air comes though the centre vents at the same time but this tends to stop as the smell eases off aswell. I know its normal for warm air to come through but it seems hotter than normal. This smell comes through and lasts for a few minutes sometimes longer.
The blower motor is not on, i leave the fan speed control on the off position, one position before completely closing the vents.
Any ideas what this could be?
