Bury phone kit - steering wheel/audio 20 integration not working

Hi,

I bought my 2006 w203 recently and it came with a Bury cradle thing.

As directed on this site, I obtained a cradle for my Nokia, stuck it on and then...

- I can dial/answer calls using the phone's keypad and audio is routed through the car sound system. Excellent.
- But - I cannot answer a call using the steering wheel buttons - the car display say Functional not available.
- I cannot use the buttons on the Audio 20 to answer/dial - the audio 20 display says No Phone.

Any ideas? I have tried 2 phones and 3 cradles.

I dont know if the pprevious owner had it working.

any help/pointers would be great b4 i go to MB.

There may be a loom/connection missing from the steering wheel to the phone kit.........

I don't think that a BURY will ever work with MB.
I might me wrong but I wouldn't make any sense to have 3rd part phone kit working with MB.

There are some after market devices that provide full integration but from another post I understood this one is not even connected to the MB CAN bus or the fibre ring (not sure about speaker wires but that isn't much of integration).

To have full integration with the steering wheels, head unit and instrument cluster you need a MOST phone retrofit kit. The parrot kits partially integrate but not fully.
