Buttons on interior mirror.

On my interior mirror there seems to be a green and red button.
I can not see in the booklet what they are for.
Plus under the mirror is a knob.
Any idea what they all do.

They aren't buttons. They show the alarm arming (green) and armed (flashing red).
Twist the knob and the mirror should dip.

Thanks Ted, second question, what switch turns the alarm on and off.

The button on the fob should do that. If you see them both flashing alternately the battery in the fob is low.
Also iirc some didn't have an alarm, just an immobiliser.
