Buy an E500.............

He wants £10K for it, still cheap?

Will

Fair enough, wasn't sure if you'd seen that he wanted £10K though, that's all ;)

It does seem like a lot of car for the money, although I guess a ~ £50K car with 171k miles might cost a bit more to maintain than your average :)

Possibly a better bet than a rusty W210 E55 with lower miles though!

Will

Strikes me odd that previous owner/s bought an E500 to do over 40k miles per year in.

Who cares when the company is paying for your fuel, I would expect the answer to be...

Hmmm that is weird

Seller has 10 negatives.....2 or 3 I put down to nuisance bidders/morons...10 I'd question if I want to do business with him.

I would agree with Mudster, I wouldn't bid due to the high volume of negatives. Try reading some, most state the description of things he sold were falsely advertised

Bid for an E Class, but when you go to pick it up, it's actually a CLK!! Can't get must false-er-ra that that!!! :D

And then he will say that it was a CLK that was advertised not the E-class, even though it blatantly states the E-class. I reckon everyone should ask him the question, "Does it come with a free CLK?" :)

Also Mr.Shr, I believe we have the same post count :D

Not for long :)

Well you've achieved the same number of posts in less time than me so you're clearly more efficient.

(We also both have a C280)
