Buying becker sat-nav/radio/cd head unit from Germany - advisable?

I'm thinking of buying Becker Indianapolis 7920 head unit for my SL. It retails at around £900 in the UK but I've seen it advertised for about €850 ( c£550)on a german website.
Anyone know if the settings would be different i.e. for radio tuning, and therefore could it be used as per a UK model?

Only difference would be that the nav disk would be for Germany - and possibly major roads of Europe. You would need to factor the cost of the UK disk into the price, but should still be worthwhile.

I have Becker Audio 30 UK version and it has one CD for all the roads of Europe... About 15 countries...

Has anyone else out there bought (or considered buying) from Germany and specifically either of these 2 websites:

Given that prices are 40% cheaper than UK it seems like an interesting option for sat-nav kit.
