Hi guys,

Where are the best places for buying Genuine & OE parts from for our cars?

First Merc I've owned so don't have any contacts for parts, etc.

first and most obvious is the dealers ; some like Inchcape have online shops

All of these places will offer a mix of OEM and 'alternative' products .


Depending on what you need , there are lots of specialist breakers : Mercman ( down in Cornwall/Devon somewhere ) , Rob Parker ( member on here , has eBay shop ) , Dronsfields , Boss Parts ( Leeds IIRC ) , lots of local general car breakers in west of Scotland , in particular there's one in Muirhead which always has a good stock of Mercs breaking ( Stewart Metals , bottom of Station Road ) .
