Mine: BMW X4 2.0d M-Sport (Red) Hers: BMW X1 2.0d M-Sport (Black) Sorry about that...
Well, not completely goodbye. I'm still keeping the ML, so I'll still be on here.

The C class is going, and will be replaced by a nice BMW X1 M-Sport.

Not a vote against Mercedes cars - but very definitely a vote against my local MB dealer. I've been ripped off on servicing charges, charged for extra non-authorised work, had brake pads changed at 12,000 miles (the replacement pads have lasted a further 32,000 miles!) and stiffed good and proper with regard to a repair to a corroded tailgate.

I've dealt with my local BMW dealer several years ago when I had an M3 and found them excellent - even though I bought the car from a non-franchised dealer - they certainly put the MB dealer well into the shade.

It's a shame when a marque is chosen because of it's after-care service and not (primarily) the quality of it's products.

Good luck with the BMW, they deserve your money if MB cannot be bothered

Glad you're not going totally... :)

Quality of the car is perfectly acceptable - as good as any premium European manufacturer - it was a choice between this or a GLA but I just couldn't see myself putting money in Inchcape's pocket after the way they have treated me over the last few years.

With the car being nearly new (9 months) I wanted to stay with a Main Agent for servicing - BMW have sold me a 5 year service plan for £425 - Inchcape charged me almost that a few years ago for a service on an A class that I used to own!

PS - that's a 1 off payment, not an annual payment!

Hopefully we will still be hearing from you though. Good luck with the BM.

Definitely still be hearing from me. I've still got the W163 ML350.

It's off to the bodyshop on Monday - a bit of corrosion on the tailgate - it had new headlights a couple of months ago, new alloys, tyres, side bars & stereo last year - it just needs a bit of TLC - and at 10 years old it's a good biffabout.

Service Inclusive Plus is the better option but more expensive of course.

Service Inclusive Plus.
For added peace of mind, BMW Service Inclusive Plus extends this cover level to include
brake pads and discs and even the clutch, and what’s more, every BMW registered since the 1st of January 2013
with either Service Inclusive or Service Inclusive Plus also benefits from an extended MOT Protect cover level.
