After 3 Mercedes it is time to move on for a little while.
I know that I will miss the V6, but I'm sure that I'll eventually get used to a Japanese 4 pot.

You can't tease us like that.

Come on, spill the beans!!!

Ant. :D

And we though that you enjoyed continually spending on your car in an attempt to keep it on the road :D:D

Vijilants, I was looking for a 'don't like' button for your comment :) - I've finally seen the light and bought something which should not rust, and does not have biodegradable electrics.

It's just a normal 5 door, 1.6L VTec, made in 2003.

Other than my first ever car, which was a 1980 Ford Escort Mk2, it will be the newest car that I've ever owned.

I'll get to take the MB out for a last blast on Saturday morning.

Get in the groove, man. It's Vtec Yo!. :D

Sorry, I meant to add "like the rest of us" :D

Good luck with your purchase....I'm sure that you will be happy.

I've had 6 Mercs in total and each one has required a considerable spend on all sorts of stuff that should never go wrong.

I have also had several Hondas and Toyotas.....none of them have required any sort of major spend apart from routine service parts.

I think that we Merc, BMW and Audi drivers love a bit of financial punishment.:D

Say goodbye to the torques ;)
And say hello to PS pump whine! Having said that, it is the only mechanical thing wrong with my current 2002 Honda - seems to blight many Hondas of that vintage.

My wife had a Honda CRV for years and until it was stolen we never had any major problems with it. Good luck with your purchase

We have a CRV and apart from a few little annoying bits of toys/features as standard that should be there, it's really is a good bit of kit.
