Congratulations on your new car, very nice 👌🏻

I have a soft spot for the Lotus Carlton. Is your car based on the GSi 3000?

Nice car and seats (AMG)

That Carlton is wonderful
Is that a factory colour?
Never seen that on one before

Hi
Was a 2.0 cdx originally and then had original lotus body kit and interior/ wheels/ exhaust etc . Has had a vauxhall 24v engine and manual box fitted. Car draws a lot of attention especially with the no. Plate. Its a dry weather car! Was contemplating getting a genuine LC but due to scarecity of parts and the amount of use it would get i was more than happy with replica...

Nice! Clearly had a lot of time and effort invested into it. Enjoy!

That looks beautiful! Thank you for the pic's.
I love the colour as well. My first car was a Vauxhall Vectra B. I remember seeing a Vectra B estate that was made into an ST200 replica and that was the same colour as your car.

Pity its not the right colour.....it might of had us fooled then! Lotus Carltons were only built in dark green....which looked black on dull days. They change hands for strong money now....drove one for about 10 minutes once.

was going to go for the colour change to imperial green but love the colour as it is as has a pearly effect in the sun.. only time i would do the colour change is when its due some major bodywork.

I think it looks better as it is [ not that imperial green is a bad colour ]
