c 180 sport 98

can anyone tell me why my 1998 c class 180 sport runs on 3 cyclinders some times not all the time i have changed the plugs and th plug leads the car has just been serviced and only dose this when i am in wrong gear
she has 113000 on the clock any help would be good thanks

Have you had any diagnostic checks done?
